Dear Friends of the American Czestochowa,
Month of November is for us who believe the time of our prayer for the deceased. Prayer for the living and the dead is one of seven works of mercy. For God, the time - seen as something that is limited - do not exist. But people, existing at the time, have a goal to intercede for others with God. This, what someone does in their lives for others, is always present with God. Therefore it is right to pray for people who have died a long time ago. So, we invite you brothers and sisters to pray for those who have preceded us in the pilgrimage to the Father's House.
November - Month of Masses for all the deceased at 11:30 AM.
You are invited to the American Czestochowa Shrine for these upcoming events:
1 - Tuesday - ALL SAINTS (Holy Day of Obligation).
2 - Wednesday - All Souls. Day of Prayer for all the Faithful Departed. Masses in English at 7:30, 8:00 & 11:30 am. Mass in Polish at 10:00 am.
5 - Saturday - 5:00 PM Mass for all deceased Shrine Volunteers.
20 - Sunday - Solemnity of Christ the King.
26 - Saturday - Vigil Prayer (in Polish) begins at 9:00 pm.
27 - First Sunday of Advent.
Brothers and Sisters,
Wholeheartedly we want to assure you of our prayers at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Here, in front of Mary’s Icon, every day we cry out to heaven through her intercession to God, that He in His infinite mercy bestowed upon you a blessing, and we pray for the loved ones of your family who have gone from this world, we pray for the grace of eternal life for them. Every Saturday in the Chapel of Our Lady is celebrated Holy Mass for all the benefactors of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
Looking forward to see you at Our Mother’s House!
