Dear Friends of the American Czestochowa,
We sincerely thank you, for all your Christmas and New Year wishes and cards. We are grateful for your support in prayer as well as financial support, and above all for your kindness to our religious community in Doylestown.
During the Novena before the Solemnity of St. Paul the First Hermit we remembered about you and your loved ones.
In February, we want through the intercession of Lady of Jasna Gora, in a special way to pray in the intention of religious, the sick, and we want to begin the holy time of Lent.
We cordially invite you to the following events:
2 - Tuesday - The Presentation of the Lord. World Day for Consecrated Life.
3 - Wednesday - St. Blaise. Blessing of throats after every Holy Mass.
11 - Thursday - Our Lady of Lourdes. World Day of the Sick.
The Holy Mass with the Sacrament of the Anointing of the sick at 11:30 am.
17 - ASH WEDNESDAY - the beginning of Lent. The Holy Masses in English: 7:30 am; 8:00 am;
11:30 am; 5:00 pm; 7:00 pm. The Holy Mass at 10:00 am in Polish.
21 - First Sunday of Lent. "Bitter Lamentations" after 12:30 pm Mass.
27 - Saturday - Night Vigil at 9:00 pm (in Polish).
28 - Second Sunday of Lent.
During the Lent, we invite you to penitential devotions: Bitter Lamentations – every Sunday after Mass at 12:30 pm; The Way of the Cross every Friday at 6:00 pm in Polish and at 7:00 pm in English.
Reliving years 2009-2010, announced by Pope Benedict XVI, as the Year for Priests, we invite you in your prayers and sufferings, to remember about support for the clergy and those preparing to the priestly ministry.
We provide our prayer before the Icon of the Our Lady of Jasna Gora imploring you, your families God's blessings and graces. Every Saturday in the Chapel of Our Lady we celebrate the Holy Mass all the benefactors of the Spiritual Capital of Polonia.
