Resurrection

This is the mystery of death challenged and defeated.  The resurrection marks the definitive triumph of Christ. Christ conquers, reigns and rules.  We do well to recall that the first appearance of the risen Christ was to the pious women who had been close to Him during His humble life and remained close to Him even on Calvary.  In the splendor of this mystery the gaze of our faith goes out to the living souls now united with the risen Christ, the souls of those dearest to us, the souls of those who lived with us and whose sufferings we shared.  Learning to wait, trusting always in the precious promise of which the resurrection of Christ is a sure pledge - this is a foretaste of heaven. 

ZMARTWYCHWSTANIE PANA JEZUSA

Prawdziwa śmierć to pustka, ciemność, cierpienie, rozpacz, nienawiść, zniszczenie. A jednak Chrystus zgodził się na tę śmierć, na to oddzielenie, by być solidarnym z tymi, którzy byli odłączeni, i zbawić ich. Kiedy dotknął dna ich rozpaczy obwieścił nadzieję swoim zmartwychwstaniem. Gdy w przepaści ich niezdolności do miłowania, przekazał swoim zmartwychwstaniem nieskończoną radość miłości. Miłość zwyciężyła, człowiek był uratowany. Wolność ponownie stała się udziałem ziemi.

Ascension

In this scene let us contemplate the consummation and final fulfillment of the promises of Christ.  This mystery, above all others, is a light and a guide for those souls who strive to follow their proper vocations.   It teaches and urges us not to allow ourselves to be hampered by things that burden and weigh us down, but to abandon ourselves to the will of the Lord who draws us heavenward. 

WNIEBOWSTĄPIENIE PANA JEZUSA 

Dzisiaj wiara jest trudna. Jest to bezsprzecznie czas znaków. Upadek kultur obnażył ją, przemijanie cywilizacji uczyniło ją bolesną. Powiedziałbym, iż nadszedł czas, w którym Boga łatwiej odkrywamy dzięki Jego przeciwieństwom. Jest to czas Apokalipsy i jak nigdy dotąd księga świętego Jana jest dobrym tekstem do modlitwy. Apokalipsa może być tekstem najbardziej rozjaśniającym dni, w których żyjemy, zgłasza gdy chodzi o oczekiwanie na nadchodzącego Boga, na powracającego Chrystusa. Marana tha, modliła się wspólnota świętego Jana w Efezie. Przyjdź, Panie Jezu, przyjdź!

Descent of the Holy Spirit

At the Last Supper the apostles received the promise of the Spirit:  later in the Cenacle, with Christ gone but Mary present, they receive Him as Christ’s supreme gift.  Indeed, what is His Spirit if not the Consoler and Giver of Life to men?  The Holy Spirit continues to pour forth His grace on us day after day, to all ages and all men and women who belong to the Holy Spirit.

ZESŁANIE DUCHA ŚWIĘTEGO 

Duch Święty jest Oblubieńcem duszy, jak był i jest Oblubieńcem Maryi. Jest Osobową miłością Ojca i Syna, która przychodzi do nas, biednych stworzeń, by oddać się nam całkowicie i wymagać także od nas całkowitego daru z siebie. Jako Miłość jest Duch Święty samą istotą Boga, który nas szuka, kocha, mówi do nas i pragnie, byśmy się z Nim
zjednoczyli.

Assumption

The lovely image of Mary becomes glowing and brilliant in the greatest of exaltations that a creature may have.  How full of grace, of sweetness, and of solemnity is the dormition of Mary.  This mystery brings home to us the thought of death, including our own; it gives us a sense of serene abandon of ourselves, for it makes us understand and welcome the thought that the Lord will be near us, as we should wish Him to be, in our last agony, together into His hands our own immortal souls. Jesus stands beside her, and clasps her soul, as if it were a tiny child to His heart, to indicate the miracle of Mary’s immediate resurrection and glorification. 

WNIEBOWZIĘCIE MARYI

Maryja dzięki wierze miała odwagę zaufać Bogu w rzeczach niemożliwych i pozwoliła, by to On zajął się rozwiązaniem Jej problemów. Jej wiara była bowiem czysta. Tak, Maryjo, błogosławiona jesteś, że uwierzyłaś! Błogosławiona jesteś, że pomagasz mi wierzyć, błogosławiona jesteś, że miałaś dość siły, aby zaakceptować całą tajemnicę narodzin i miałaś odwagę użyczyć Twego ciała takiemu wydarzeniu, które nie ma granic w swej wielkości i w niewiarygodnej małości.

Coronation

The meaning of the entire rosary is summed up in this scene of joy and glory, with which it ends.  The glory of Mary, the Mother of Christ and our Mother, shines in the splendor of the most august Trinity and is dazzlingly reflected in Holy Church in all her states:  triumphant in heaven, suffering patiently in purgatory and in the confident expectation of heaven.  The virtue of confidence must highlight this mystery how the glorious Virgin Mary, was with great jubilee and exultation of the whole court of heaven, and particular glory of all saints, crowned by her Son with the brightest diadem of glory.

Cześć okazywana Maryi oddala niebezpieczeństwo odczłowieczenia religii. Maryja jest bramą, która połączyła niebo i ziemię, to, co boskie z tym, co ludzkie. Całe jej życie było rozważaniem wcielenia Niewidzialnego w widzialne, Nieosiągalnego w dotykalne, Wszechmocnego w niemocne. I oto Maryja należy do tej ziemi i jest Matką Boga.
