for God; some things become more important than God.

November is the month when in the
special way we remember about our deceased loved ones, believing that our
prayer can help them in getting into the joy of eternal life and being with God
face to face. Belief in eternal life is the foundation of our earthly
pilgrimage, when we try to live according to the will of God, striving for
holiness, to be able to say with St. Paul: I
no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
The same apostle says: I have fought the good fight to the end, I
have run a race to the finish, I have kept my faith. This is the essence of
our life to live to the glory of God, by every word, deed became a following of
the path of holiness and protects this precious gift and grace of faith.
Listopad to
miesiąc kiedy w szczególny sposób pamiętamy o naszych bliskich zmarłych,
wierząc że nasza modlitwa może pomóc im w dotarciu do radości życia wiecznego i
przebywania z Bogiem twarzą w twarz. Wiara w życie wieczne jest fundamentem
naszego pielgrzymowania ziemskiego, kiedy staramy się wypełniać wolę Boga dążąc
do świętości, by za św. Pawłem apostołem móc powiedzieć: już nie ja żyję, ale żyje we mnie Chrystus.
Ten sam apostoł pisze, że w dobrych
zawodach wystąpiłem, bieg ukończyłem, wiary ustrzegłem. Jest to
kwintesencja naszego życia, które ma być przeżywane na chwałę Boga, by każde
słowo, czyn stawało się podążaniem drogą świętości i strzeżenia tego
drogocennego daru i łaski wiary.
19 listopada w Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Jasnogórskiej w Doylestown odbyła
się uroczysta Msza św. w intencji zmarłych pochowanych na Cmentarzu
Sanktuaryjnym w okresie od 1 listopada 2010 r. do 1 listopada 2011 r. W ciągu
tego czasu w Sanktuarium odbyło się 239 pogrzebów.
On
November 13, 2011, the first Mother/Daughter Tea was held at the National
Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. The Friends of
FertilityCare and Generation Life sponsored the event: two non-profit
organizations whose missions are to build up the Culture of Life. Friends of
FertilityCare, which promotes the Creighton Model System and NaProTechnology,
has a core mission to educate and foster a deep respect for the gift of a
woman's fertility. Generation Life of
Philadelphia, whose missionaries travel promoting the beauty of chastity and
modesty to young adults, is committed to building a culture of life and love
among youth. The event drew over 85 young ladies with their mothers out for an
afternoon together to learn about the beauty of God's design for them.
